Paperbacks take the win, tthey arent durable but they are affordable. However if you'e looking for durability, hard cover will do.

Paperbacks, without a doubt, since they are so easy to handle and carry.

I like paperbacks as I have pain in my hands and find the weight of hardbacks makes it worse o this doen't stop me reading hardbacks if I really really can't wait for the paperback to come out!

I don't really care, as long as every book in a series is the same format. Paperback is definitely cheaper, and tbh I like the aesthetics better, but I'm not going to wait aroud for it if I really want to read a book right away.

Personally it doesn't matter. What matters is the way you handle and store the book and what's written in a book.

orn up easier. I hate it when my books have bends and rips. XD I really don't mind either kind, although I usually go for paperback. I guess I'm cheap. XD

I prefer paperback books because they are cheap and flexible allowing you to fold them open without fear of damaging the book

I don’t have a strong opinion. Paperback is more portable! But hardbacks stay looking nicer longer. Paperbacks get scuffed and the spine creases.

For me, paperback is better. I can not read hardback. I find it very uncomfortable to handle plus they are too heavy. Hardbacks look pretty in the library, that's all.

Paperbacks cause you can usually find them cheaper. I agree though, for those books that you just can't wait to read, hardback is perfectly fine.
