Paperbacks would be also kinder to the environment since the amount of trees or paper usage could be reduced. I don’t see the point of wasting more paper just to produce a hardcover.

Paperback is easier to read with but I love the way a hardcover looks and feels. I don’t really have a super preference, usually it is the one that is either on sale or available

This is so hard because the aesthetic of hardcovers is amazing, but I prefer to physically read paperbacks.

I don't really care, but paperbacks are cheaper and easier to get where I live.

I think that paperback is my realistic choice because of the economical price. However, if I had an infinite amount of money I would only buy hardcover for that classic look and feel. :techie-studyingbrown:

I prefer paperbacks because they're easier to handle, but if I'm gifting a book, I look for the hardback version because it's sturdier and they can cherish it forever.

Hardcover. My paper back books often get folded and bent.

I don't normally keep my books, I donate them or send them to a friend, so I prefer paperback. However, hardcovers are a smart choice if you are keeping them in the home for decoration!

I say paperback any day. When I think of the phrase, "Curled up with a good book," I picture a paperback. Somehow a hardback doesn't deliver the same cozy feeling. It's too unyielding and awkward to handle.
