I think im about the same. Personally though, I'm a cheapskate though so I hate spending a ton of money on hardcover books!

Definitely hardcover, mostly because of how it looks on the bookshelf.

Paperbacks for obvious reasons. When I read a book, I love to get comfy in bed or a lounge. When reading hardcover, I always hate having to prop up the heavy covers with my hands

I prefer paperback unless it's a very thick book like a dictionary. I feel like with hardcovers, the pages tend to lift up if the book is open on a surface while that doesn't often happen with paperback.

I read on my Kindle, so I only buy hardcovers of the books that I REALLY love for my collection. Unless, of course, I have no choice and the book doesn't have a hardcover. Haha. I am hoarding all kinds of books though because I plan to open a mini library in the near future.

Paperback! Hardbacks get damaged easier for me. The binding breaks and the pages fall out. Paperbacks make it easy to hold when I walk and read, which I do a lot so I don’t get drowsy. But, I’ll admit, I downloaded the kindle app on my one daughter’s iPad and have been using that on the treadmill.

I prefer paperbacks because I am a messy reader and love flipping the page back while I read. I also find myself turning the top corner down to hold my place. On the other hand Hardbacks keep their value.

I prefer hardcovers because of durability and I often get them if I have enough cash for them. I get a certain joy from having hardcovers.

That is such a hard question, I love both lol I have to go with hardcover, just because I find them more durable to carry around with me.

Paperbacks are easier to handle; hardbacks last longer. I'm a sucker for both, but usually prefer hardbacks.

I feel like hardbacks look better, but paperbacks are easier to use and cheaper.
