To me, there's nothing better than rain and a good cozy mystery to read!

Yes especially hot weather,I prefer reading in a cold and airy atmosphere, with my earphones on my ears listening to a good music, but hot weather condition makes me read less.

The weather doesn't really affect when I read but I have noticed that I'm inclined to read more when it's cold out so I could just get snug under the covers with a good book. :D

It's not so much about the weather for me but the time of the day. I love reading at night.

The weather doesn't affect much except for those very hot and humid days. Still, I don't stop reading on those days

I always tend to read more on a rainy or very cold day. If the weather is nice I'm outside gardening or golfing

I've always lived in sunnier locations with very few rainstorms. Although reading on rainy days always sounded nice to me, I'll read any time of day or night, rain or shine. I think the idea of reading while it's raining sounds better because when it's sunny everyone says you're supposed to be outside doing stuff, right?

I like to read when it's chilly outside because I can curl up in bed, relax, and enjoy a good story. I can pile fluffy blankets on myself and be perfectly content. However, I don't really like reading during a storm. The sky gets dark and gloomy, which makes it harder to read books because of the limited amount of light. I also like to read stories on my phone, and I'm always paranoid that this would result in me getting struck by lightning.

I find myself reading the most on sunny days, poolside or at the beach. I like to read in a relaxed environment and in these settings, there is nothing I would rather be doing.

I would love to be snowed in this winter, with some snacks, hot cocoa, and a few good books to read. Just curl up under a nice cozy blanket, lol.

I read almost every day but I love to read in stormy, chilly weather and will make a it point to cozy down with a book during stormy weather. Unfortunately for me, where I live is always hot and rarely storms!

No, I usually read every night in bed, regardless of the weather.

Thebooknerd24 wrote: 15 Jul 2016, 20:26 I'm posing this question because I'm curious if I am the only one. I love reading no matter what the weather but I do find myself wanting to read more when there is a big thunderstorm going on and it's pouring down rain. I suppose in the winter with pretty snowflakes falling down I'm more inclined as well. However there is something about me and thunderstorms that coincide with me wanting to read. Am I strange or does anyone else get that?
I also do love when it rains. People's noises are usually not heard during that time as they might have gone to sleep.
