Yes definitely. I don't usually read a lot when it's hot because I'm so irritated and I just need to cool down so I can handle sit still and relax. I find that my favourite time to read is when it's cold or just when it's cloudy and/or rainy. It makes me want to make a warm cup of tea or coffee and sit on the couch with a blanket doing nothing but reading

depends on the book, some books are really summery and need to be read in the sun while others I just want to cosy up while it rains

Absolutely your mind starts to drift away and all you think about is sleep.

I also enjoy reading when it's cold and rainy I tend to concentrate more.

Same here. I find reading during a rainy day very relaxing. However, if there is a power outage, I'd just burrow into my bed.

It doesn't affect when I read, but I enjoy reading when it rains the most.

Weather sometimes inspires me to read more. I love reading more during winters.

I too read no matter what the weather is. But, definitely weather affects me when it's reading. I too like to read books when the rain is pouring down with thunderstorms.

Sometimes! I think there is something cozy about being able to snuggle under a blanket with a book in hand when it is cold and stormy outside... ( maybe it is an old instinct of not being able to work outside in such weather and therefore being "allowed" to read and relax inside the house without feeling guilty for not toiling the earth... :eusa-think: )

I never actually paid attention to this before. I love reading whenever, but reading outside is pretty nice so I guess I need nice weather for that.

Sadly, the only thing that affects my reading is how much my kids are interrupting me. School scheduling means I get a lot more reading down. Weekends and time off (aka summer vacation) it's a real struggle.

No, it doesn't because what matters is the essence in the author's writing.

I never thought about this question until now, but I suppose I am less inclined to read when it's really hot outside. I just can't seem to concentrate and get into it as I would if it were raining or colder outside.

The weather does not affect when I read. However, I get this feeling of zen when I read during thunderstorms.
