Hello!
I'm looking for inspiration in how to get others laughing.
Being a book lover, this naturally raised the question: which book has made you laught - either recently, a year ago, or maybe even when you were 5?

I remember that the Percy Jackson books and the related series and books in the PJO universe never failed to make me laugh. Its been a while since I've read the original series but it always made me smile and laugh out loud as a kid no matter how many times I re-read them.

The books of Brandon Sanderson never fails to make me laugh. His books are filled with humor. In fantasy books I have read, many authors choose a melancholic tone the world ends..., but Sanderson chooses humor even in dire situation. Destroying the world. That's no mean feat, if you think about it. I wonder if we should be impressed with ourselves.

Planet Zero by Lydia Hope

It's science fiction, but parts of the book seem like a soap opera.

The books that immediately come to mind are Bridget Jones’s Diary (and the others in the series) and the Stephanie Plum series. I also remember reading a book called Coupling by Paul Reiser when I was in high school and I thought that was very funny as well.

That's interesting that you mentioned Bridget Jone's Diary. I haven't read the actual book, but the movie mostly didn't seem like it's intented to make me laugh... :?
