I am a huge fan of historical fiction and beautiful imagery. I am currently reading Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. This sci-fi exploration of newly terraformed worlds is a mind-blowing look into how humans may once colonize other planets for survival. So far I am thoroughly impressed with Tchaikovsky's attention to detail and creative descriptors!

I just finished Alice in Wonderland for the first time. I found an annotated edition and was able to make it through it, finally. Although the commentary definitely helped with understanding the historical and cultural references/context, I'm still convinced Carroll was high on something when he wrote this.
