I remember crying really bad on A Bloody Book by Chris Bowen. And yes, it is supposed to be a chilling thriller but no, it made me cry so bad and wish I could dive right into the book to give the kid a hug and be his mother because he did not deserve all of that. I also cried for the little girl, because she's just a little girl, and she's an innocent angel that deserves responsible and loving parents.

I guess I'm insensitive or have a frozen heart because I don't remember crying with a book. But, it did make me sad to read the chapters about how Chase's girlfriend dies in Bossman by Vi Keeland.

I think I cried when I read 'Doctor Sleep' by Stephen King, but it was quite an odd book to cry over. But, I think I felt a lot of sadness for Jack Torrance, and the existence of his spirit moving to protect his son was something that made me teary-eyed.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, ANYTHING by John Green (that guy knows how to break your heart), Just one day, and Pride and Prejudice (Darcy's confession is definitely a tear-jerker)!

The Faults in our Stars by John Green. I cried from the beginning to the end. It was really heart wrenching to read.

Recite in the name of your Lord who created [*] Created man from a clinging substance [*] Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous [*] Who taught by the pen [*] Taught man that which he knew not.

I found Les Miserables by Victor Hugo a real tear-jerker - it's so full of despair and loss and grief, it's impossible not to cry. As also Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy - I was crying pretty much all through this book. Parts of Little Women by Louisa M Alcott also made me weep. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte is another book that I have always found very moving.

I was sobbing at the end of The Client by John Grisham. Even The Graveyard Book by Neill Geiman had me emotional at the end.

It takes a lot to make me cry, but Sparks' The Notebook hit me at the right (or wrong?) moment. I bawled for hours.

The Girl in a Swing! I don't remember crying, but I read it in 1997 and it has stuck in my mind like no other. I just bought an ex-lib copy and plan to finally re-read it.

Little, Big is on my TBR. Can't wait.
