Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It's my favorite novel so far. The writing style of the author is so appealing; it makes the reader live the events and creates a mixture of emotions throughout the story. What made me cry because of sadness was the disappointment of Elizabeth due to Darcy's actions, but I had tears of happiness when she came to know the truth and eventually forgave him.

The dairy of a young girl by Anne frank. This moving tale of a Jewish family seeking refuge from mortally risky double yokes of war and a brutally murderous blood-thirsty racist army during world war two. What seems to have been a successful strategy to protect their lives came to a sad ending at the time when it seemed the light was finally at the tunnel's end left tears flowing down my face.

'Good girls bad boys' This is the best humor and friendship book I have ever read. It made me cry at the end. The plot and description is mind blowing.

I still remember the first book that ever made me cry: Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson, back when I was 9 or 10 years old. Since then, I've cried at a lot of books... But those end up being some of my favorites. I always say, you have to care a lot about characters to cry for them, so it's proof the author has done a great job with their story.

I we go on counting the number of books which made me cry, it is going to take forever. I get emotional on almost all the books. But I would say Yesterday by Samyann was one of them. The book was so sentimental and soul-stirring. However, it ended on a happy note, it made me really emotional, reading about the main characters' journey from one life to another.

The most emotional books for me: The Goldfinch and A Prayer for Owen Meany, like in various books by Dickens the protagonists endure a lot in life.

'Nectar in a Sieve' by Kamala Markandaya made me cry, not just once but twice. Once during Kuti's death and then, at Nathan's death. It really is a beautiful and highly sentimental book that I cherish, even now.

I have cried in purple hibiscus by Chimamanda Adichie where the son offered to go to prison when he knew it was his mom who killed his father. That scene was pretty emotional for me.
