The first book (and only that I can think of right now) is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. The end was so surprising.

Patrick Ness's 'A Monster Calls' was the last novel that made me cry. I wholeheartedly suggest it to anybody seeking a quick read with a powerful message.

I can't remember all of them because there is a whole list. However, the most recent book that has made me cry is Kaylayla by Jeannie Nicholas. It is on this website and I think you guys should check it out.

I am a person who gets extremely indulged in the story. Needless to say, I have cried many many times at least at some particular parts of a book. Off the top of my head, I can remember The Book Thief, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Kite Runner. These wrenched my heart out.

I think that it's hard for me to cry while reading a book, but there are some books that did make me cry. One such book is A thousand boy kisses by Tillie Cole. I remember reading it at night and crying throughout that whole night.

More happy than not by Adam Silvera and Coral by Sara Ella had me bawling like a newborn. They are both heartwrenching and beautiful, each in their own way. I even repeated the torture a few times

"One" by Sarah Crossan, absolutely heartbreaking story about the life of two conjoined twins and I couldn't help but tear up by the end
Deathly Hallows is a great pick though! It didn't make me cry but in terms of emotional value it has to be the most well-written and beautiful Harry Potter book imo

I'm not an emotionally expressive person and I've only cried during one reading session. The book was A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

The first book that I read was "You are the best wife" by Ajay.K.Pandey. It's an emotional one. I remember reading the last few chapters of the book late at night, my family members were sleeping and myself crying until I fell asleep.
Recently I read "A man called Ove". It's an emotional book too.

Some of the books that made me cry are Fault in our Stars by John Green (one of my favourite books), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling and Dairy of a young girl by Anne Frank.
