Reading is easy for me than writing. Writing needs System 2 of thinking from the concept of Thinking Fast and Slow.

I give importance to both however, I just realized lately that I have no way with words. I could not articulate my thoughts well through writing but I can visualize it very well in my head.

If I write, I write as the world is only mine and it is the greatest feeling of all time. But a great book doesn't let you feel any less emotions, to be honest. Both of them are needed, one to fill your mind, and one to empty it.

I used to love writing but I feel its a skill that you can lose somewhat. I tend to get mind blanks and struggle to convey things as I gert older. Probably because we spend so much time at school and higher education writing, we keep that part of our brains sharp. Now I prefer to read.

Wow! That is so beautiful to know your emotional relationship with reading and writing. For me, I just read whatever and whenever I get in my hands. But for writing, sadly I don't write as much as I love it. And I am working on writing more often now.

I have a very good imagination and love reading but have no desire to write either short or long stories. Maybe when I’m older that will change.
We've longed to see the roses, but never felt the thorns
And bought our pretty crowns, but never paid the price
Find me in the river, find me there
Find me on my knees with my soul laid bare

I preferred reading. In reading your eyes and imagination works. While in writing eyes and imagination works plus your hands, arms 😁😆

Reading. Because I enjoy other people's stories and creations. Writing requires more mental energy and thought.
