Imagine a world without books

That was my world when I was in school. I never read anything outside of my syllabus. And syllabus books are not books at all. So how did I spend my free time without reading? I remember just roaming with my friends or riding the cycle. And other times we created games. But now-a-days, I cannot even imagine how I will spend my time without reading. My hobby has become limited. Will writing be a possibility or insanity in a world without books?

I'm sure that it will be a place that I will not fit in. But right now, for some people, it is just like that. They don't read anyways.

A world without books implies a lot of things, but to keep it simple, I don't believe that it's the end of the world. Even without books, we have other methods to communicate such as art and music. As long as we have an ability to express ourselves, we'll do fine as people... I myself would probably be invested in music, though I'd like to imagine I'd feel somewhat hollow with my favorite pastime having been removed.

It would be way harder to make progress without access to centuries of knowledge and stories. I never thought about what a privilege it is to have all that at my fingertips.

A world without books would likely be inhabited by individuals with restricted perspectives and limited knowledge.

Given the advancement in technology, it seems inevitable that ebooks will eventually replace physical books, relegating the latter to museum displays. And God knows what may supplant ebooks. The future does look bleak and scary.

It's hard because there wouldn't have enough information to live. I guess there wouldn't be any wise person. Living like animals.
