The last book I read was "How I Became a Superhero" by Chelsea Dozier, a book written for 5- to 8-year-old children. I found the book to be excellent and I cannot wait to read this book to my great grandsons. @Mrlefty0706

Richard L. Haight's The Unbound Soul received a rating of five stars from me. The book was amazing; it was full of lessons for both the body and the soul.

I finished reading "The Handmaid's Tale" a week ago and I was disappointed with the open ending, which is why I give it a 4 out of 5. But the story was different and amusing!

The Witching Game aka Mirror, Mirror from Deadtime Stories

This is a really solid middle grade horror book. The premise of combining Bloody Mary with a be careful what you wish for story was clever and worked really well. The characters felt unique to each other and mostly likable. I'd give this at least an 8/10. Would recommend.

Unsilenced by Martins Agbonlahor, I gave it 3/5. Although it is a book about women's rights, the protagonist did not show enough emotion appropriate for such a sensitive subject.

Recently I have read some classics - "Vanity Fair" Thackeray. I have been re-reading it. I think my mark is 3 out of 5. Not much, but there are things there that I really like.

The last book I read I finished today and I was very intrigued with "Shadow of Death" by Heather Graham. I have read many of the books written by Heather Graham and she never fails to surprise me. She is a phenomenal writer that makes it very hard to put the book down after starting it. I rate this 319-page action thriller 5 out of 5-stars. I highly recommend it. @Mrlefty0706

Just finished "Lightning" by Dean Koontz, it's a fairly old one of his and I don't know how it slipped by me to be honest.
Really glad I stumbled across it though, it really is a great read if you are in to Koontz and I see no reason not to give it 5/5.

The last book I read was “Under one Roof” by Ali Hazelwood. I give that book 2/5. The building of the enemies to lovers, forced proximity was nice, but the ending was rushed. It went the guy hinting that the girl did not want her to leave to an aggressive sex scene to them dating. It just did not follow through well.

The last book I read was "The Joy of Politics" by Amy Klobuchar, Senator from Minnesota, and I found this book to be excellent. I foresee the day when Amy will make a serious run for the presidency and she will make a very honest and fair Commander in Chief. I wish it was this year since we really need a young president. I rate the book 5 out of 5-stars. @Mrlefty0706

I just finished reading Caraval! I really enjoyed it! It felt like reading The Night Circus, which felt very magical and beautiful, so I’m very happy to have read a book that reminds me of that feeling. I would rate it 5/5 stars! I loved every second of it!
