Stories of your life and others by Ted Chiang. It's a sci-fi short story compilation. I liked some stories more than others, but the themes he uses in every story made me think. Every page is really worth it. 5/5

The last book I read was Star Wars Into the Dark. It was pretty good and added some new villains and interesting insight into Jedi philosophy to the Star Wars mythos. Overall, I would rate it a 4/5.

What Does It All Mean? A Very Short Introduction to Philosophy by Thomas Nagel. Solid introduction to philosophy for a beginner; I'd rate it a 4/5.

Finding George Washington, A Time Travel Tale. 5/5stars.
George Washington disappears from Valley Forge and emerges in San Francisco in 2014 and is befriended by two college boys. As they embark on a journey to get George back in time, the world is devolving around them. What would have happened if the Colonies had lost the revolution to the British?

I finished Calculated Risks by Seanan McGuire. I always love her books a whatnd this was no exception. 4 out of 4.

However, I am very heartbroken and need what happened to be fixed. I believe it will be, one way or another, it's just a matter of when (and HOW!). I can't wait for the next book.

the plague by Albert Camus, 5/5.

It was beautifully written, and more than that, the message was so touching.

Assassins Apprentice by Robin Hobb

The first part of the Farseer Trilogy. Absolutely feel in love with this book. I am not the biggest fan of fantasy, I don't really enjoy pages upon pages of self-indulgent lore, but this book straddles the line very well. Hobb takes us through the life of one boy, an illegitimate son of royal blood. Her amazing descriptive abilities puts you on the emotional rollercoaster of your life.

A gigantic 4 out of 4 stars.

I would recommend this series to everyone with interest in politcal power struggles as well as a bit of magic.

Zara Hanson & The Mystery of the Painted Symbol by J.L. Haynes

2 out of 4.

Good for sci-fi lovers but significant errors and not so much of a mystery.

If you get a chance to read Waves Break (on Unknown Shores) by Barry Litherland I highly recommend it. I am very picky and rarely give out a 4-star rating. But this book has it all. This is a skillfully written novel where two stories merge into one.

Latest Review: We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz

My last read was We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. I gave it 2 out of 4 stars because I was quite disappointed with the finale of the book. I read Matthew Tysz's The Last City of America as well, so I had high expectations. I loved The Last City of America!

Just finished reviewing my first book. It was Living Abroad: Challenging the Myths of Expat Life
by Jim Santos. I rated it 3 out of 4 stars as it only focussed on one destination.
