It makes the mind sharpens and you get to escape the present situation to a fairy world of milk and honey, lol.
If you are having a bad day, let people see that you are having a good day...Spread good vibes, people are going through a lot already. :tiphat:

I think I like reading because it works as an escape for me from this harsh and cruel world. It takes me into a world where I have full control over my life.

Reading helps me escape reality. I can be someone else for as long as the book lasts. And my vocabulary keeps getting better because I'm always reading something.
I've also learnt things in books that helped me in real life.

My imagination brings a lot more to the story than a director and actors could.

I’ve watched multiple movies after reading a book, and have been disappointed but I’ve never watched a movie and, was disappointed with the book.

1 - To escape from reality.
2 - Because it's fun, I love all the different methods of storytelling there are and the different stories people have to be told!

I enjoy using my imagination and being taken to a fantasy world. I also enjoy learning new things and new words.

reading a book is the same as reading one's thoughts. I like to know what other people think, how they see the world in that sense, when I read books, I am getting to know the way other people think.

I actually really love this topic. I have so many reasons. One of them is that I can travel to different worlds from reading. I can visit aliens fighting an intergalactic war of I'm reading a sci-fi novel, I can marvel at the wonder of having powers if I'm reading a fantasy novel and so on like that. It also never ceases to amaze me how creative the human mind can be.
I also love reading because my very vivid imagination allows me to paint pictures of the writer's world so it feels like I'm directing the movie in my head and bringing the characters to life. Sometimes when my imagination is at its best, I actually feel like I just saw the movie until I have to remind myself it was just a book.

I read for the fun of it. I am an introvert, so, I always seek solace in the "realms" of book.
I also read to get inspired, lively and also gather ideas on what story/poem I would be writing next!!

For three Reasons;
- Book Reading helps me alleviate my stress levels.
- It helps my mind focus on theoretical and logical things better.
- As I am an introvert, it seems to be an excellent way of not wasting my time and energy into other things which , in return , tire me out like social gatherings etc..
Thanks for asking! :techie-studyinggray:

I like reading because it makes me a conqueror ('readers' are 'leaders'), it opens the eyes of my understanding (gives me an edge over certain topics), sharpens my memory (by renewing my mind consistently) and expands my knowledge base (my thinking / comprehension capacity).

Thank you

Reading educates me on a lot of things. It also allows me to go into a completely new world during the time that I am engrossed in a new book.
