Re: First sentence of current book

I'm currently reading a book titled " The Inner CEO" by Jeremy Blain. The book deals with ways organisations must set their structure in order to meet the demand of this technological age. The first statement from the book is in the introduction. And it says " From the early days of my career, I have always attempted to step up
and go beyond my job roles".
