This habit of reading multiple books at once allows me to expand my knowledge and understanding of diverse topics, as well as challenge my cognitive abilities to keep track of multiple storylines and characters.

It also helps prevent boredom and monotony that can come from reading only one book for an extended period.

However, it is important to note that reading multiple books at once requires a certain level of organization and discipline.

It is easy to become overwhelmed and lose track of the various plots and characters if one does not manage their time and attention effectively.

For me I have tried it but, it was just not for me. This is because, when I am reading a book, I put too much concentration. Reading several at a time may not allow me that much concentration.

Rarely read more than one at a time, the exception being I might read something else on vacation as I don't like travelling with my kindle

I tend to read more than one book at a time. I don't know if it's healthy but it's a kind of system that works for me. It helps me function and get through reading slumps. Because if I choose to stick to one, I often get bored and need more mental stimulation. So I like to read more than one book, I always try my best to remember and concentrate on each book every time.

no no no no... I can't read more than one book at a time. I get confused and can't stick to the plot.

No, I've tried to read more than one book at a time but failed miserably. Rather than dividing my time evenly between the two, I consistently gravitated toward the book that captivated me more.

But I admire individuals who can juggle multiple books at a time, and I hope to develop that skill someday.

I used to only read one book at a time. Now that I’m reviewing, however, I read two: one to review and one purely for pleasure.
