HA! I do that all the time. If I'm in a book slump and can't find a book to read, I re-read one of the books that I really enjoyed.

I prefer to have two or three books going on at the same time. I like to read a lot and one book just isn't enough most of the time.

I read more than one book at a time. I prefer to read fiction and non-fiction books at the same time.

I am very OCD when it comes to reading books. I have to finish one entire series before I can begin on something else. If I do not finish, my thoughts are completely thrown off and I cannot focus on the new series.

Most times, I read just one book when I'm done, I pick another. But, sometimes, I read two books, switching from one to the other.

I can't do that unless I have to. For example in school sometimes in ELA we used to read books and at the same time I was reading a separate book for pleasure. So if it is a situation like that it is fine but if it is just me reading two books on my own I don't think it would work.

I'm currently reading seven at once, but that's usually done to five. I do this with different genres. And also so that when I feel like procrastinating on one, I can go to the other.

If it's a non-fiction that requires a lot of time and energy, I will pick up a simple fiction to go with it. Or else, I read one book at a time.

I usually stick to one book at a time. Multi-tasking exhausts me a lot.

I prefer reading one book at a time. It would be disorienting to read halfway then start another. When will I ever finish.

It all depends on how similar they are. I would not want to read a thriller and another horror book in the same hour. But if one is a children's book and one is a book about spiritual growth then I can do it.

Typically I'm reading two books at the same time. I have one book club where it's in Portuguese so every month I read a book in Portuguese, and then we have a book club that is bi-monthly in English. Often times I will have a comic or audiobook or read something for work. I guess in the end I could be consuming up to 4 things at a time.

I'm usually reading two books at one time. Sometimes more. I've never seemed to have a problem keeping the stories in line. Go figure
