For me, it's just an hobby. I have no specific reasons. If I wanted to do so, I would probably make a list of why I like reading.

Because I enjoy it, and it's my go-to thing to relieve stress. It's also good that in the process I get to learn new words, concepts, and ideas.

I love to get lost in a book. I read to go on adventures in my mind. I read to solve intriguing mysteries. I enjoy reading about relationships and romance. Reading teaches me about different cultures and different time periods in history. Reading is my favorite hobby.

Sometimes it's good to take a break from your life and submerge into someone else's.

I read for the pleasure and the escape it gives me. I feel like it’s one of the world’s greatest gifts. I love stories.

Reading takes my feet on a journey around the world without having to move anywhere. Reading takes me across time, seeing and hearing things I've never experienced before. Reading opens up my path, opening my mind to various theories, ideologies, and understandings. After reading, I become a different person from before, and I'm very happy about it.
