Whereas romance is great and I always find myself gravitating towards it, my main genre is fantasy/fiction. Anything that is not real usually peaks my interest.

I think that it was hard to choose just one since my opinion changes so often, but I am reading a lot of sci-fi right now.

I have eclectic taste. Today it seems to either be Mystery/Thriller or Young Adult.
My standard are Mystery/Thriller, Young Adult, History, Paranormal. Sometimes there are a few romance sprinkled in, but just when the last book has been very heavy. I love a book I have to read with my dictionary, sometimes I just need a brain break and turn to an easy children's book or romance.

I really am mot stuck in one genre, except that I do not read horror. I read non-fictionn, fiction, biography, autobiogrphy, almost everything. I want to broaden my horizons, if you will, by reading a variety.

Crime and Mystery. The intrigue which comes with reading these types of book always keeps me guessing. So much so that my imaginations runs away with theories. So when the truth begins to unravel, it is sometimes a bit of a disappointment to think "oh so it was some simple motive," rather than an incredibly complex movement.

I really enjoy reading nonfiction, particularly the computer field (game design, programming, etc), although a good sci-fi novel is hard to pass up :D

I have to be careful when I read them bc my imagination gets ahead of me and freaks me out, but I really love psychological thrillers. Add in a little romance and its golden. Also love books that are fiction but realistic. Fantasy is not my style but my husband is a huge fan so I try to read them with him occasionally.

Crime. I do read books of various genre but 'Crime' genre is the one that I try to read most and it fascinates me.
