Can you read in a noisy environment?

Post by Egbeolowo Olamide »

If I'm lost in a book, there's really nothing that can distract me. Doesn't matter if I'm in a rowdy environment although I prefer quiet. Everyone does :shhh:

:) I tried to read in noisy environments before. If your mind is quiet and at peace, you cannot be easily distracted. Nevertheless, it all depends on the type of noisy environment you are talking about.

I m used to reading in a noisy environment. The noise doesn't affect me unless the book is boring. If I m too much into the story then no noise will disturb me. But reading in a quiet environment hits different.

I have small children so I am almost always reading in a noisy environment, ha! That said it does shock me to remember as a teen I would put headphones on and BLAST music while I read and I definitely couldn’t do that now

I used to be able to read under any circumstance, but now that I am older, I need complete quiet, or I can concentrate.

Absolutely not. I cannot concentrate in a noisy environment as I would always be distracted. I also get annoyed when there is noise around me.
