How many books do you read a year?

I read a minimum of 50. LIkely more like 70. I tend to read at least one book a week, sometimes two. But there are sometimes I pick up a book that I just cannot finish and that will throw off my number.

Based on the stats I've collected since I first started documenting my reading, it varies. The highest to date was 40 books and that was during year one where I would load up on reading materials during my library's -con event. It's currently half the amount at around 20-ish books.

I used to have a goal to read a book a month, but after joining the Book Club, I have tried to read at least 25% of the book I'm reviewing each day. That said, life has been so hard lately with kids on summer break and a husband getting covid after a business trip. I really look forward to a schedule again and see what progress I can make.
