Truly, my books are one of my greatest comforts. Even if I've never read them before, and they are just on my shelf awaiting the day that I pick them up, I love knowing that at any time I can just walk over to a shelf and pick up an old favorite, or start something brand new.

I dont collect books by choice, they just keep adding up. About the only collecters items I have is a set of first editions by O Henry and one called The War Book that was autographed by Colonel W. A. Bishop, he was a WW1 ace who who shot down over 100 German planes.

I've also come across some people who collect different publications of the same book. I don't and I'm not really keen on doing that.

I only collect the books that I know I want to read again. I don’t collect different versions of the same book.
