Sometimes I just fold at the edge of the book. Most of the time, I just read it all in one day without moving from my bed so why bother bookmarking it if you can finish in one day or less? ?

Currently I am using one that my niece made for me. It is made out of paper but who cares since she made it for me after asking her to, I can't help but use it and think of her all the time.

I made this out of a post card about 3 years ago. So cute! I make sure to put it along the exact line I was reading.

I have loads of bookmarks, but I normally read on kindle so I don't use them that much! When I read paperbacks, I use a magnetic bookmark with Van Gogh's art that I got at his museum in Amsterdam, or bookmarks that my mom knits for me :)

I use anything I can find--my watch, money, bottle caps, pens . . . the possibilities are endless.

I usually use my library check out receipt because it’s thin, unimportant, and tells me when I have to return by.

I usually just use whatever flat thing (paper, card, etc.) is nearest to me. When I was in high school, I always tore off a corner of a piece of paper and then played with it while I read until it fell apart.

I use an old friendship bracelet whose knot came apart. It has a nice little tail that sticks out of the book when closed :)

I actually make personalized bookmarks for all of my books. I don't know why, I guess it's just fun. :)

I have a whole collection of bookmarks. But when the book has a part of the cover that is used to mark pages, I usually use those.
