Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys started my love for historical fiction ! I've always been a reader since I was a child, but I started reading a lot more after reading Sepetys' work.

Legendary Masters Wife. After reading that book, I immediately shared it with my sister, mum, and my best friend.

Always "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". Recommended it to every one of my friends in high school, and several acquaintances throughout the years. Every person who read it agreed that it was excellent.

The book that made me act that way is "Before Daylight." The book is a combination of rare short stories. I was always in awe whenever anything happened because each of the stories were unpredictable.

When I started reading Ted Dekker books, I started with the circle trilogy. I wanted to tell everyone to read that series, even those people I know didn't like to read. It made me look like a crazy person

I read Hurricane Season by Fernanda Melchor this year - this book really hit me hard. It is a difficult read as it is stream of consciousness, but the themes and surrounding context are immensely powerful. This is a one-of-a-kind reading experience.

In Portuguese I read "Os tais caquinhos" last month. It is a quasi-coming of age story. I definitely recommend it if you can read Portuguese.

I remember reading 'Looking For Alaska by John Green when I was about 17 and telling everyone to read it.
Also, I've told a few people to read 'The Peks of Being a Wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky as I loved it so much.

Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell was bone-chilling! After I finished reading it, I really had no idea how to feel and I just had to talk about it with anyone and everyone. The ending is bittersweet, but the story itself is just so twisted.
