Art vs Title

The cover art is what gets my attention, but if the title is a turnoff, I'll put it back on the shelf! For instance, if a book has a really pretty cover, but the title is generic or is too informal, I'm a lot less likely to consider the book.

It's a difficult question to reply to. I think both art and title attracts me. I can't choose one.

I like books that are catchy in nature. I look at the quality of the book, I don't like books that would waste my time and money. I want books that would make sense.

What draws you to a book you've never heard of? Is it the cover art? The title? Something else entirely? Which is more influential?

I saw a book with a cool cover today, so I picked it up to look at. I don't even remember the title because the art was just so interesting.

For me the Title works. The title draws me to the book. The art also has a part to play.

The title is the first thing that draws me to a book. I don't real bother about the cover art, although I appreciate the good ones too.

Probably the title. I will read the summary of a book with an interesting title, but a boring cover. The same does not happen with a uninteresting title.

I think it's a combination of both the artwork and the title that draws me to pick up a book. Then I read the blurb and maybe the first page before I decide whether I want to read the whole book.
