While I'm here, I'm going to be reading The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo.

Anyone interested in it?

(It will probably be the next book I read after Circe.)
It sounds good. Is it part of a series? I saw there is another book with the same protagonist.
I don't think it is. I think her second book is unrelated to this one. :eusa-think:
Ok, I am game. :)

(If so, I'll start reading it as soon as I'm finished with the current book.)

Synopsis: Barbara Buncle is in a bind. Times are harsh, and Barbara's bank account has seen better days. Maybe she could sell a novel ... if she knew any stories. Stumped for ideas, Barbara draws inspiration from her fellow residents of Silverstream, the little English village she knows inside and out.

To her surprise, the novel is a smash. It's a good thing she wrote under a pseudonym, because the folks of Silverstream are in an uproar. But what really turns Miss Bunde's world around is this: what happens to the characters in her book starts happening to their real-life counterparts. Does life really imitate art?

A beloved author who has sold more than seven million books, D. E. Stevenson is at her best with Miss Buncle's Book, crafting a highly original and charming tale about what happens when people see themselves through someone else's eyes.
Wow, that sounds like a great book! I'd love to read it with you but need to finish up a few other things before I have time. Maybe we could get started next week?
This book is on my list as well; It does sound good.

Hi all, I'm interested in reading a book which is going to be released around May 19. The title is 'Rodham' by Curtis Sittenfeld. This novel is 1/2 fiction and 1/2 nonfiction. It is about the life of Hilary Rodham Clinton.

If anyone is interested in reading it with me, please let me know.

@gali

Are you interested in starting one of the other books?

If not, I'm fine reading something else. :)

Previously mentioned books:

In the Hall with the Knife by Diana Peterfreund
A Dream So Dark by L.L. McKinney (this is actually the second in a series)
Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky
The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith
The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo

(I figure the L. L. McKinney is out for now, as it's the second in a series.)

I also have this one on hand, if it looks interesting: Anna and the Apocalypse

I have no real preference at the moment, and there's no rush. I can finish one of my ongoing books, or read something else first. :tiphat:

Anna and the Apocalypse sounds good.

I am also ok with either In the Hall with the Knife by Diana Peterfreund, Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky, The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith, and The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo, so take your pick.

I am in the middle of another book, but I will finish it in a few days.

I can start one whenever, and I'm fine with whichever one you choose (I'm weirdly not really leaning towards any one over the others, personally, so it's entirely your preference :tiphat: ).

Lol, likewise. Anna and the Apocalypse seems like a nice book, so we can start it. :)

Hey! I would love to try out a teenage romance novel. How about " The sun is also a star" by Nicola Yoon?
