I have bought two books recently. Solar Storms by Linda Hogan and Monkey Beach by Eden Robinson. Both books are terrific.

I bought 'A Song of Ice and Fire' by George R. R. Martin a couple of weeks ago. It's filled most of a shelf in my bookcase! I might make a start on it next week.

"My Southern Journey", by Rick Bragg. I'm off to a slow start with this book, but I'm trying to keep pushing ahead. It is interesting, just taking a while for me to get into a good groove.

I have recently become aware of my odd fascination with poems on death; therefore I bought "The Night is Darkening Around Me" by Emily Bronte.
