I often dream about fantasy books. I especially dream about the fantasies that I love so much. I'm always disoriented when I wake up form these dreams because it felt so real yet I had never left my bed and that disappoints me.
Where is the line between insanity and creativity?
Is the reality of the world different from how we perceive and experience it in our minds? Does physical reality exist apart from the human mind?

If I read before bed, I find myself dreaming about the book. Somehow, I begin to understand some things that I didn't understand before. It is amazing what little details the mind remembers and plays back for you while you sleep.

I definitely have had dreams where I am friends with certain characters in books. I remember I had plenty of dreams about Harry Potter when the books were still coming out. I would constantly think about what would happen next and it was on my mind so much I would dream about it all the time.

Yes and sometimes with an alternate ending. Makes it really interesting when you later reread the book and then become unsure of which ending is with the book.

If I'm really invested in a book I might dream about certain things present in the book or similar to it. It happens with fantasy books a lot.

This question is indeed interesting. If I ever dreamt about books, it is mostly because of its fictional character that i'm obsessed with.

I always read before bed, so yes, I dream of books. I dreamed not too long ago of the smell of a really old library in a museum in Lima, Peru. It was so vivid, it was like I was there again, smelling the musty old books. Delightful.

Does this happen to anybody else? Or is it just me?
It’s tough to say I’ve definitely had Star Wats related dreams but that could be due to films not books.

I read just before I go to bed, so I usually end up dreaming about whatever I'm reading right then.

Yes, I’ve definitely had dreams about books I was reading. I had one years ago about a great book I was reading that I’ll never forget. I always remember it when I go back to that book. I’ve also dreamt about tv shows I was really into.
