I generally read either at my desk or laying on the bed. I do the best reading from the desk. When I read from the bed I tend to fall asleep. In the summer I will take my book out and read on the swing. I generally do my best reading in the late afternoon through the late evening. Reading first thing in the morning will put me right back to sleep.

In the living room, dining room or bedroom after the kids are in bed, usually when I ought to be sleeping. Or ought to be writing book reviews - ha!

Also, in the library, Panera or Starbuck's whenever I get an afternoon off.

In a friend's house, looking through their bookshelf when I ought to be interacting with people socially. (See the discussion Can Reading Be Rude?).

Haha, me too.
Or when I do it at my own house, in an armchair for as long as it takes. I read in binges.

I literally read all day every day. Usually in the recliner in the lounge room or in my bed before going to sleep, but I also take a book with me when I go somewhere so I'll sometimes read in a café while waiting of a friend or in the park. I don't care where I am, as long as I hve a book with me.
So many books to read, so little time..

Typically at night after TV until I go to sleep. And again if I wake up in the night and can't go back to sleep.

At night and in my bed. If the story is so fascinating I will read till the early ours of the next morning and then have to battle a 'reading hangover' the next day.

I usually read at night before I go to bed. I have a nice recliner chair that I read in most of the time. If I am really tired, I will read in bed. I also read in my car when I am waiting for the school bus to drop of my daughter. This is usually in the early evening on a normal school day. I bring my e-reader with me most of the time just in case I get a few minutes to turn in on.

I like to read right before I go to work which starts at 9:00am. I get ready first and around 7:00-8:00AM I read on my bed until it is ready for me to catch a bus. I read a little bit in my living room in the afternoon as well.

I usually read in our living room. It is where all of our books are and a comfortable couch. I read facing the books so when I need to take a break I can relax in our "library." I often start my day by making coffee and then reading for an hour or two. I am an early riser 5am mostt days so the entire house is to myself and all is very quiet. But I do continue reading throughout the day and I always have a book in my purse just in case I have to wait somewhere.

I usually read on my bed, but I can read anywhere. I could be at Disneyland and be able to read, and ignore everything around me.(I even did it once!) :D

I usually read in the afternoons and at night. I always have my Nook with me in case I can sneak in some reading time during the day!
