Yes, most of the times. I find myself crying a lot while reading.

I have definitely cried or laughed in several books and that has only made me love the book more! To me, a truly great book is one that evoke emotions from the reader. I have also had people look at me strange when I do it in public, many friends and family have taken to ignoring me or asking for recommendations when I do it!

Oh yes, I get very emotionally invested in most fiction I read. My family thinks it's funny.

My emotions definitely take over when reading! I find myself laughing or having my heart racing with the characters of the book. If a book can't pull in my emotions, I often have a hard time finishing it. I have found a few books that make me cry, and I find myself re-reading these or recommending them because of how well they are written.

I'm super emotional about certain books (Nicholas Sparks usually makes me cry). I love a good tear-jerker.

Depending how the book is written. I can definitely get right into them to the point where I'm shouting at something, like if a character suddenly dies and such. It's not often that I find books written good enough to get me emotionally involved.

I agree with some of the other posts. I get emotionally invested in almost anything I read, because if I didn't then it wouldn't be important to me to read.
I am the girl in the coffee shop with a huge up of tea or coffee with my feet up on the other chair laughing at a book while my husband looks at me annoyed reading the sports section.

I can feel sympathy or get irritated over characters in books. But i never cry or anything like that.

A couple of times I have laughed, and a few times I have come across a book that will tug at my heart strings. I love books that pull at my emotions. To me it makes the book more real, more interesting.

My emotions totally take over when I am reading! I feel everything the characters feel. I've even jumped up with excitement during certain parts of some books. I laugh, I cry, I get angry. If the characters feel it, you can probably see it from me while I'm reading. Although I try to hide it a little bit more when I am out in public so people don't think I'm crazy.

My emotions completely take over while I'm reading! I'm a crier, so when something is sad, I'm usually devastated. On the other side, when something embarrassing happens in a book, I get super embarrassed for the characters and blush.

I will say that my emotions do tend to take over but it's very hard for a book to bring me to tears. I will openly laugh without embarrassment while reading though. There has been only one account that I can remember where I actually cried while reading. That was of course when Dumbledore died in the sixth book of Harry Potter. Tears flowed freely in that moment.

My emotions definitely take over while I'm reading, to the point where it affects my mood for the rest of the day. I will be sad because of something that happened in a book, but will forget that the reason I'm sad is a book not real life.
