I have probably read 85% of all my books in bed now that I think about it. The rest is done in a comfy chair...

Audiobooks are a different story though as I fall asleep when listening whilst lying down.

I prefer not to read while sleeping as it is conducive for sleep, the body thinks in such terms: If laying, then release chemicals for sleeping, i.e. prepare for sleeping. While sitting or walking (while listening to audiobooks at the same time) conducts the body in the opposite manner. I think it is like this, we talk to our bodies by the actions we do upon/in our bodies. If you want to tell your body to sleep, you just lay down, it automatically sleeps, however we are free in our actions, and that means we are able to read and lay down, at least for a while, until the body can no longer multitask between laying and reading, then it just goes poof, to sleeping realm! Then the body's intelligence overtakes and stops your reading.

It is one of my absolute favourite places to read especially on a rainy day.

Nope. I always get into awkward positions and my neck starts to ache.

In bed is my favorite place to read. 2nd best is my rocking chair in the sunroom. I also like having my Kindle on the nightstand so if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can pass the time reading.

Yes. Also, it gets exciting during winter, reading in bed with a warm blanket and a cup of coffee.

Almost always. There is something about just sitting in bed and reading that is incredibly enjoyable. I have also decked out my balcony with a nice couch, screen from the sun, and a small firepit for fall/winter reading.

I have a habit of reading at night usually, so I read in bed mostly. It's very comfy.

No, I don't really like to read in bed I might fall asleep and I wouldn't want that. I love using the living room to read with chair and table instead of the bedroom

I enjoy reading in bed. I currently have a newborn that doesn't want to be put down therefore I’m always on my bed or the rocking chair!

I actually like to read books in bed but I easily fall asleep for that reason I do not read in bed as often as wish I could.

I read lying in bed when it's an e-book but I just sit in bed if it's an actual book
