I do like to receive suggestions and at the end of the day, it is still my choice if I am going to read the book or not. So I see absolutely no harm in getting suggestions and maybe I would see a book that I otherwise might never have found.

I love getting recommendations from people who really know what I like to read. It’s not helpful to get recommendations from people who don’t know what I like but I usually appreciate the effort anyway.
