I generally just pick a random book.

Authors I've enjoyed before and reviews of books for authors I'm not familiar with are the main ways I find books. Sometimes I ask friends. Oh, and through my book club.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

It depends on my mood. I like thick books, because it feels like it never ends. So I also like series because sometimes I can't think of anything else to read it's easy to just pick up with the next book. Then there are times I want to read a short book. Sometimes I read romance, then switch to western, and then maybe a true story. So it really just depends.

I use Book Bub and they send me a list of the daily deals on books. I selected the genre(s) I want to read and I get notified of what's available. So I usually just read the next free book that is available. I've found some lovely little gems that way!

My TBR list gets added to through a large variety of sources. Usually it is through my ridiculous amount of time scrolling through Reddit or Goodreads, but another major source is simply word of mouth. As well, author's that I love usually get an additional time to shine here and there throughout the process.

I really like Goodreads book lists, and I also enjoy just browsing bookstores and libraries to find fun covers and summaries on back pages.
Hi all. I like board games, card games, video games, books (especially children's books and mysteries), stories, cartoons, anime, manga, light novels, animation, and other light-hearted, fun things. Feel free to message if you want to chat!

The first thing that usually makes me check out a book is the cover, I know it isn't right to ''judge a book by its cover'' but who can deny the effect it has on whether or not a person will take the next step. If I'm half sold on the cover image, I'll see if the title can draw me in further.

The next step is to read the authors description of the book and if I get hooked? I have to read the book to the end, it's that simple.

Sometimes a good review also gets me to read a book.

I pick mine by title, then read the summary on the back and decide. I go by author only if I have read them before and they have new book out

I don't really have any one method other than searching for books and then checking if I'm interested in it or not.

When I browse for a book to read next, I mainly look at the title first. If the title catches my interest, I'll look at the summary of the book next. If the summary of the book is not to my liking, I proceed to look at the next book

I would first decide the genre and then look for the author and the title and cover pages. I later read the summary and then decide to read.

I loooove murder mysteries and sci-fi, so I read lots of reviews for the best ones. I see the discussions, I read carefully through the summary because the summary pretty much sets the tone for the book, and then I decide!! :D
