Plant in barren land

Post by Ebrahim Algobi »

Plant in barren land
A candle to illuminate for them the darkness of their path if it was lit for them
And it went out when they arrived, so they forgot the light, as if they walked the path in darkness
Do not be sad, my dear.. We are all suffering
I don't know they are all the same!
Or is it human nature when they get used to giving
They thought it was their duty to confront them.
I can't stand generous giving in exchange for ingratitude.
As if I were farming in a barren land, I only hear the crows wailing at you
But our eternal problem is that we are accustomed to giving, accustomed to being green
the land we tread.

I found the poem "He Plant in barren landl" quite intriguing. Its simplicity carries deep, meaningful thoughts, demonstrating the power of brevity in poetry. This open interpretation allows for personal connection and leaves a lasting impression. It's a beautiful piece that showcases the potency of concise, meaningful words. 😊
