They are no longer

Post by Ebrahim Algobi »

They are no longer

If we had everything, then it would be too late
When all these accumulations began to colonize us
If we disclosed the right feelings to their owners
The problem was when the conflicts began to inhabit our minds
If our insults reached those who offended us without arguments
If the people we avoid feel that we do not want to have a conversation with them,
Without the constant idea of escaping
So, while we are silent, we admonish those we love without giving a chance
Deliberately screaming in the face of those who hurt our loved ones
We tell our friends that they are no longer ours
For those we love to know that our love is not equal.

The poem "They are no longer" was truly enjoyable. Its simplicity is striking, showing how even a few words can convey deep and meaningful thoughts. What makes this poem beautiful is its openness to interpretation, a hallmark of great poetry. It's a piece that strikes a chord and leaves a lasting impact. 😊
