Pioneer Woman Cook Book

Post by chewy4uto »

Hi
I just had a friend get a copy of the Pioneer Woman Cook Book. It looks fabulous! Have any of you tried the recipes from this book? The layout of the book is what caught my eye. I am thinking of purchasing it. I am interested in others thoughts? Is it a keeper? Are the recipes good ?

Yes, a friend gave me several of her cookbooks and I have tried some of her recipes- loaded with butter and sugar...but delicious! I like every recipe of hers that I have tried.

I was given her cookbooks and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. In fact, the same person who gave them to me took me to visit her restaurant. It is beautiful place and well-thought out. The building is an antique spot and I had been in it before it's transformation. The upstairs is fun. You can enjoy sweets and coffees while relaxing on elegant surroundings. It is there where you can purchase bakery/candy items to take home. As for her restaurant food, she serves many foods from the book. I have tried several of the recipes and the directions are easy to follow. It would be worth purchasing it and some of her other books as well.
