Who likes cherimoyas?

Post by spirituallove »

I just bought my first cherimoya a couple of days ago and am waiting for it to ripen. I hope I will like it. Does anyone else enjoy cherimoya? Please try to describe the taste....

I like cherimoyas, they have a sweet creamy taste.

I've never even heard of cherimoyas. I haven't seen them in any stores. What country are they from and what do they look like?

Its also known as custard apple. It tastes creamy, sweet and granular. I love them especially large ones after ripening as they are pulpy.

This is the first time I've heard of cherimoyas. On Google search however, I think I might have tried some before, but I can't really recall the taste. Maybe it's time I pay a visit to a local international supermarket to buy and try some again.
