I don't keep recipes a secret. I love to share my recipes and get new, invented ones from others.

I tend to look down on people who are selfish and refuse to share a recipe, but I especially dislike people who will intentionally give you their recipe when asked but intentionally mess it up so you will not get the same results. There is a special place reserved in hell for them.

Well. mine’s not a secret, but I’ve never been served a spaghetti carbonara like my spaghetti carbonara, so it must be semi secret. I don’t like them when they are swimming in the creamy sauce, mine is quite dry and I think it’s delicious with a dressed lettuce and onion salad.
Serves 4
It’s also dead easy and I often add the bacon and onion (when cool) to the egg, cream, Parmesan, coriander mix and freeze it for future quick meals.

1 onion chopped
6 bacon rashers chopped
30ml olive oil
1 garlic clove crushed
400g dried spaghetti
3 eggs
60ml grated Parmesan
30 ml single cream
30 ml chopped coriander.

Fry the onion until soft, add garlic, fry for 1 minute.
Boil the spaghetti 8-10 minutes
In a bowl, beat the eggs, Parmesan, cream and coriander.
Drain the spaghetti, return it to the pan, add the bacon and onion and eggy mix and stir over a medium heat until the egg is cooked.

Serve.

My nephew loves it when I make pot pie. He requests it everytime he comes down. The next major request I get is for my cauliflower fritters. I make these in place of potatoes quite often. Dessert wise, I get asked to make a berry cheesecake salad or green goop.

Garam Masala. We put garam masala in over anything and that makes stuff spicy and what not. It gets rich with aroma and will make your mouth watering. Gotta try Garam masala which is mixture of spices crushed and powered together.
