Fried plantain is my comfort food. I would literally do anything to get my hands on that right now.Maryalle wrote: ↑02 Aug 2018, 23:31 Comfort food is one of the greatest categories in food, in my opinion. Everybody has a different one and because humans aren't just one-dimensional beings, every person probably has differentiating comfort foods that they go to depending on the circumstances.
My top 5 comfort foods, in no particular order:
- Burgers
- Sinigang pompano (a Filipino soup that uses the pompano fish)
- Sandwiches (specifically a Subway sandwich with herb and cheese bread, turkey, swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce, banana peppers, chipotle sauce, and mayo)
- Chips and dip
- Rice and any type of roll (spring roll, pork rolls, etc.)

1) Chocolates, obviously who doesn't like them in one form or the other. Maybe you like chewy or cruncy or nutty or the healthier one - dark chocolate.
2) Soups
3) Ice cream
And that's it.

i go with, the first four of your comfort food; they are actually same as mine but the fifth one is not my thing, i would rather go with 'rice and pepper soup'.Maryalle wrote: ↑02 Aug 2018, 23:31 Comfort food is one of the greatest categories in food, in my opinion.
