Hahaha!
OmG! That is really funny.
Makes me remember the first time I made bread.
The yeast was already dead and I didn't know. The bread was very hard, and very burnt...pretty much a disaster.
I tried to eat a bit of it and I got stomach upset!
But others who ate it were okay.

I wish I was the one who suffered the stomach upset in my case, and others didn't

I've had an encounter with dead yeast as well. Now, I'm once beaten and twice shy; I always proof my yeast before use.
