Tea, hot or iced. And apple juice. I don't know what it is about apple juice. :)

I enjoy drinking hot chocolate while reading! Something warm, and I'll snuggle up under a bunch of covers and just relax and enjoy my book. :)

My favorite beverages for reading alternate depending on the time of year and my mood. For winter, I like hot chocolate and tea (either black with honey and milk or green with jasmine--or sometimes something else if I'm feeling adventurous). For summer, I like iced fruit tea, iced coffee, and lemonade. Any of those drinks also work well for writing!

Wine or coffee depending on what book or genre I am reading. Wine for thrillers and coffee for a more a formal read.

I prefer to drink hot beverages while I'm reading, preferably tea. Curling up with a steaming cup of tea and a good book is the best way to spend a day. :ugeek:

It depends on the season and what type of book. For a winter night I usually drink some coffee or hot chocolate. Summer or spring time I drink some lemonade or a fruit smoothie. :)

I, too, am a tea drinker while I read a book. In the winter, I opt for hot tea, and in the summer I opt for iced tea (unsweetened, for those of you who care). Lemonade is also a good substitute in the summer. If I don't happen to have tea, then water is always the fall back option. What is it about books that seem to make many of us reach for a cup of tea more than anything else?

Coffee all the way. Though this has little to do with wanting to stay awake and read, and more to do with my caffeine addiction. Lol. Either way I get a lot of books read ;)
