I too love a hot steaming cup of tea when I am deep in the imaginary world of books.

Black tea or fruit tea is my favorite while reading, if it's summer, I put ice in it. I've found no correlation to the amount of tea I drink and how effectively I read, but I have noticed that sometimes I get so into the book I'm reading I forget about my tea, and all responsibilities for hours.

It depends on the time of year. During winter I love to curl up with a book and drink a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and sometimes hot tea. During the Summer time I like iced tea.

If it is cold I want coffee, or hot chocalate. If it is hot I prefer a class of ice tea while I am reading

Give me a big glass of sweet tea while I read a book curled on the couch or outside on my deck getting a little sunshine. I guess its a southern thing but sweet ice tea just helps me relax and enjoy my book time more than any other beverage.

I love to drink coffee, decaf for me, green tea, & white hot chocolate. But sometimes I get so caught up in the book I have to keep reheating my cup. I used to have many cups to drink from, but now I just use my Minnie Mouse one it's really my favorite.

I try not to drink much while I am reading. I hate having to pause to get up and go to the bathroom! I do really love an occasional flavored coffee drink with a good book though. I don't normally drink coffee so I consider it a treat.

Certainly depends on the day. if I am reading in the morning then it's coffee. In the afternoon often wine. In the evening may be hot tea.

I must have a cup of coffee while I am reading my book. If I don't have coffee, I have a glass of sweet iced tea.
