Re: Favorite Beverage While Reading

Whatever time of day, or season the drink I like most while reading is a nice hot cup of coffee. Although on the rare occasion during a nice summer day I do enjoy some ice-coffee, or a coffee-chocolate and berries milkshake with a good read.
But while reading a mystery thriller, that just gives you the creeps yet you can't put it down, even though you know it will mess up your sleeping patterns there's nothing better then some hot chocolate with cinnamon.

Coffee if I want to stay up and read as much as I can and tea if I want a nice relaxing and cosy evening in bed.

Although you can never go wrong with a steaming cup of chamomile tea while reading a good book, I would have to say that nothing can top a night of reading with a glass of red wine by your side.
The wine will slowly start to relax your mind as you read yourself into a whole new world. Add a hot tub to the equation, and you are in for the perfect night!

It really depends on what the weather is like; if it's hot then Soda. in the winter time, hot chocolate/tea or coffee. Often, though, I'll make a cup of tea, set it down, open a book and get so immersed that I emerge three hours later with a cold tea next to me :D

I honestly love drinking hot chocolate. On nights (or mornings) that I can't sleep, I tend to curl up by the lap reading with a cup of Red Cream soda. Once I start reading, I don't want to stop until I finish the book.

Y favorite beverage while reading is a cup of peppermint hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream, sometimes with a cherry on top. However that depends on what I am reading. Most of the time I am drinking mountain dew.

I prefer water or juice. I am not a coffee drinker and I rarely have tea. Mostly I have tea with my mother-in-law.

It depends on what time of day I am reading. Mornings I drink my coffee, afternoons always include iced tea, and in evenings I drink hot tea. It also depends on which book I'm reading. I often find myself becoming the character, so if the character is a wine drinker, I might drink wine. It is all about time of day and which book I am reading.

Being in the South, Nashville, Tennessee, to be exact, I love a glass of sweet, iced tea when I'm reading a new book, making notes and turning pages. It's especially hot here right now, between 90 and 105 degrees outside lately, and even with the air conditioner cooling the indoors, a cold glass of sweet tea, a Southern staple, is just the libation needed for a good read.

A hot cup of tea, preferably green, in the winter. In the warmer months I'd choose iced tea or water with fruit in it.
