I often engage in one or the other craft project because my kids need to prepare something for their school. However, most recently I made origami wolverine claws just for fun for my kids. It turned out to be amazing and my kids had a fun time playing with it.

I have a pond in a hosta rock garden. That is like a hobby for me. I also have a lot of houseplants, some are maybe 40 years old. I also have 2 55 gallon aquariums and I have 4 pairs of parakeets that I sell to the pet store to pay for their seed.

I have a pond with about 30 large goldfish (not koi). I designed and made the rock garden and planted many varieties of hostas that are 15 years old. I have a pond about 10' by 6' and about waist high and a small frog pond 4' round and about 4' deep. The fish and frogs hibernate in the winter. The frogs sleep under the leaves in the bottom and the fish are in a sleep mode at the bottom. Even though we get -20 degrees in the winter they survive.

I am crocheting me a sweater and making my husband pants. Find crocheting to be relaxing and a stress-free activity.

Just a few days ago, I made an idol of Ganpati from clay on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi for my mother. Being my first time sculpting, it took nearly the whole day, but the look of happiness on my mom's face was very satisfying.

I am currently working on a paint-by-numbers of The Great Wave off Kanagawa! Tedious and precise work, but I'm loving it.

I love to craft and sew. I taught myself how to use a sewing machine and I have made a few quilts, table runners etc. I am now working on doll clothes for my granddaughters. We made scare crow crafts last weekend...just a great way to let out the creative side and relax!

Lately I’ve been obsessed with the diamond pressed pictures. I’m working on a sunflower one that I plan on doing something with the background and then putting it on a wooden frame to make more of my own personal touch. It’s especially fun to do crafts and listen to an audio book because I feel like I’m killing two birds with one stone.
