I measure my salt with my eyes. I just put according to what I think is enough.

If it’s a sauce or something I’ll add it slowly whilst trying it. With others I just go with experience and best estimation, it mostly works

I have never measured salt, and I know that I use way too much of it!   I use the pink Himalayan salt though. I've heard that it is healthier.

 I do it like my mum. I measure with my brain. After cooking for a while, you get familiar with the measurements you will be applying.

I add salt to my food little by little and I taste. Because I hate excess salt in food and I'm always careful when adding salt to my food

I always add less salt than needed, I do a taste test too.

Honestly, it comes out of experience in cooking. I don't really measure. I just add. But if you are unsure, add less and pick up a spoon and take the food out a bit and taste it. Keep adding and then tasting it until you get it right.

I always use Himalayan Sea salt as it is healthier than regular table salt. I never measure the salt when making a recipe that I've made many times as I just know how much the right amount is for my taste by experience. If there's not enough salt, I can always add more if needed. When making a new recipe, I always measure precisely according to the recipe. After tasting the food, I decide whether it is too little or too much salt for me.

I have been cookong on and off for years and I still struggle to measure the salt for a meal. I usually use less salt and add it at the end.

The only time I measure salt is when I'm baking something, other than that I just eyeball it and it's usually fine.

I add slat by instinct honestly. I always make sure to taste as I am cooking and add more salt if needed.

My mother told me to use HALF of the salt that is listed in the cookbook. I have always done that. You can ruin something you are making if there is too much salt!

I just add salt and then I try. If you add too much salt, you can always add potatoes to help soak up some of the salt. But as of lately, I haven’t been cooking with much salt as I add lemon juice as a healthier option. Obviously not every dish can have lemon juice, but I find I love it.

You should add small amounts at a time. If the recipe has a set amount, measure it. Also, measure the amount you use each time you make it.
