Most times when I'm sick, I find myself unable to eat a lot of regular food. But bowl of very peppery soup is always a life saver

I don't eat foods that are hard to swallow or would hurt my throat. So I prefer soups and stew over solids or bread or other. And the same goes for what I'm drinking. Maybe a weak tea or warm water should be enough to wet my tongue.

I like a nice hot tea with toast with jam. I also love a good chicken soup or a hearty stew. But when I feel off I'm usually not that hungry so any food I can get in me is good, which is usually soup or some kind of carb (potato, toast, pasta etc) with lots of fluids.

I like to have my mom’s bean soup. It’s celery, carrots and white beans with a little bit of rosemary and I add lime. Just the smell of it cooking already makes me feel better.

I like warm foods when I'm sick. Especially soups but nothing creamy because I feel like when I'm congested it makes me feel worse. That goes for milks in coffees too.

A cloves and ginger tea always does it for me.Been having that ever since i was young typically because it is also cultural and good for your immunity.
The tea usually has ginger, garlic and cloves.

Chicken noodle soup. It is comforting and reminds me of my childhood. I watch the sodium, as it is generally high.

When I am sick with a cold, I prefer having a hot, warm, steaming chicken stew or chicken noodle soup. It makes me feel better.

Soup is always a classic! I love bone broth, especially lamb. Add a dash of vinegar and soy sauce, and it just becomes the most comforting clear soup in the world.
