Something that I have tried is to mimic foods they like with foods they don't. For example, I dipped bananas in chocolate and froze them to introduce a picky eater to bananas that they'd like.

I am a picky eater and was stubborn when I was little. I suggest basing things at first if what you know he likes. Mac and cheese? So maybe add something to the mac and cheese like chicken, broccoli, or bacon? Or another similar pasta dish like chicken spaghetti? And as for oatmeal maybe try some with a fruit in it, or cinnamon. If he likes cinnamon you can branch off that into something else like cinnamon rolls or maybe French toast with cinnamon. I didn't have the texture problem, except for soup which I still hate. You know he likes cheese so maybe cheese on something could work.

My brother has stomach ulcers. He cannot eat most spices, white pepper is a huge no-no. No tomatoes for him and a whole list of other things like vinegar and chilli stuff. I just make it work for him. I always try to find alternatives because it is really sad to see him sick.

I myself am a picky eater, especially when I was young. However, it changed when I grew up. I have already come to appreciate the food that I hated before though.

I'm a picky eater myself and it annoys my mum so much. Some food just irritates me. And some, just don't like it.

Unfortunately I have no useful tricks besides insisting that he at least tries some food before having any sweets. Works every now and then for us.

Two picky eaters in my life, my husband and my 5-year-old daughter and this limits me a lot. When you think you are making a nice meal for the family, they won't even eat it.

I have a six year cousins that does not like onion. I thought she was being cheeky when she said didn’t like the onions in her rice so I told her to pick them out. She did, and I was like, oh she was serious.

I wish I could get our six-year-old to eat oatmeal
Right now she only wants frosted flakes. She eat won't anything different or colorful. But at least she eats lentils, beans, and all her veggies

I myself is a picky eater, but somehow when I am already in my 25’s I had this tendency to eat healthier foods. I’m not a fan of eating any dishes with coconut in it, any small fishes and some sort of exotic foods.

Yeah. How the friend was a picky eater and let me tell you I did not like that one bit.

My roommate is a picky eater and that's one of the reasons why I don't love us cooking together. There's no how I will cook and she'll be satisfied. She has a lot of variety of food that she doesn't eat

No, I haven't come across a picky eater at least for now. I can't say maybe later in the future but as of now my answer is no
