Do you like Pakistani food?

Post by Aniza Butt »

Pakistani food is rich in flavour and is an important part of pakistani tradition. Famous Pakistani dishes include Biryani(a dish of rice and chicken/beef/mutton), kheer (a sweet , kind of rice pudding cooked with sugar and milk), Nihari( a meat stew cooked overnight) and much more. Did you ever tasted any of them? If yes, what do you think about it?

Filipino here. And believe it or not, I had to Google for this stuff before I could answer because most of our cuisines here are just too heavily influenced by international cultures. And much to my surprise and dismay, we don't have it! Ahwww man, apparently Pakistani food or any of its variants haven't reached this side of the world.

And with this mouthwatering conversation, I'm tempted to cook one for myself

Sad to hear that Pakistani food isn't available there in Philippines. Hope one day Pakistani cuisine make it to Philippines. And am glad you want to cook it yourself, believe me some Pakistani dishes are so easy to cook that even beginners can cook them. Must try one and happy cooking๐Ÿ˜Š

Pakistani food is too spicy to eat or digest. It just depends on the person. I like some dishes but honestly not enough for me to volunteer to go to a Pakistani restaurant.
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

I can understand that. People in our region eat spicy food and people from other regions find it difficult to eat and digest Pakistani food. Sad your experience was horrible. I really sympathize with you cause i know what our extra spicy food can do to a person who is used to less spicy cuisine. But we have some delicious sweets as well that you can try fearlessly๐Ÿ˜ƒ.
