I love to eat rice with lentils. You get a more balanced vegetarian meal that way, with carbs and proteins. I like to make some sort of veggie/lentil medley and serve that over freshly cooked rice

Based on my personal preferences, I would choose Szechuan Chicken and Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken as my two favorite dishes to eat with white rice.

I mostly have it with my stews and every single thing meaty and heavy. The people I live with consider it as a staple that does not make them full. But I love it
